Food Bank Volunteers on Tuesdays

We accept volunteers who do not attend Westway Christian Church for these roles in the Food Bank.  Several high school students are getting their volunteer hours through this route.  To inquire on these opportunities, email Karen at ewing.karena@gmail.com.

Food Delivery Volunteers- between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Volunteers receive and process the food supplies for the clients when the food bank opens in the evening.

Food Bank Volunteers- between 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Volunteers serve as servers, runners or client intake to serve the clients that come to us during food bank hours (from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM).

In Church Volunteers

For the following volunteer roles, we recommend that you attend the church for at least 3 months, have studied our Statement of Beliefs, and have signified our agreement. Sometimes we make consideration for people who are plugged in with another church with a similar Statement of Beliefs. We treat this on a case by case basis.

Band Members

Vocalists and instrumentalists for our worship services are needed. An audition is normally required to help us better understand your strengths.

Waymakers Westway

If you are gifted with the love and passion to care for and teach young minds the love of God, this is the ministry for you. A police check is required to work in this ministry, for which we cover the cost.
